Why do you have to hate, Michael? It's not wrong to show a little love for someone, and even you can't (honestly) deny that being loved makes you feel good inside.
Being loved often means that somebody either wants you do buy something for them or that they are using you to make themselves feel like nice people.
Although that is not always true, and love is usually not bad, that doesn't change the fact that heart signs are overrated.
A heart is like a smile over the internet; it doesn't matter in practical application, but it makes people feel good and is a nice gesture.
